A wonderful experience was provided when you were placed in groups and asked to critique a draft of a comic page provided to you. You were to use all the knowledge provided to you on designing Comics and make your comments on the piece provided to you.

I was very good critiqueing someones work and it helps me to develop skills in making comics and publishing it for everyone to see.It makes me feel very excited to critique someones work.It is to my colleagues benefit because they will know where to make necessary changes in their comics.it is beneficial to me because I will look at my colleagues work and know how to better mine.
ReplyDeleteIt felt great that I could correct some in a good way and they are thanking me. It make me feel like a teacher who is giving great advice.Yes it is to my colleagues benefit because when they see the mistake other children are doing he will learn not to make that mistake.Yes it is beneficial to me because when we see a mistake we can prevent ourselves from making it.

DeleteIt felt a bit strange for me to critique the work of my fellow colleagues because I myself am now just learning as they are, however I was able to experience a little of their work and was able to point out the mistakes made as well as learn something myself

DeleteI felt bad at first but when I figured out that it would help them and not hurt them I was relieved. Yes it is to my colleagues beneficial when I critique their work. It is also beneficial to me because I am sure that I have some of these mistakes in my work or pieces.
ReplyDeleteIt felt a bit strange to critique someone work because it was my first time doing this. After critiquing my colleagues work I realized by critiquing I was inspiring them to do their best. Critiquing is beneficial to me because I can learn about my friend opinions about my work so I can improve on it in the future. I honestly find that when someone critique your work it is beneficial to you and know what people think about your work so can learn and improve in the future.
ReplyDeleteAt first a I felt sorry for the person because of my harsh comments .It was a little hard for me but once I realize that I was actually helping the person it became easier to help them. This excise was helpful to me because I can also learn from their mistakes and correct my and their work.
ReplyDeleteIt felt bad because they can take it in the wrong way. It makes me feel bad because I am talking bad about their comic. yes it is beneficial when I critique. yes it is beneficial to me as well because it well help me to find out my mistakes so i can become a better artist.
ReplyDeleteI felt as if I were hurting my classmates feeling by critique my friends works because he/she would have put lots of effort into doing their art pieces but on the other hand its beneficial to you and your friends art work better because you are pointing out mistakes in which it could of been better.
ReplyDeleteAt first I felt I was doing a wrong thing when I was critiquing one of my fellow classmate work but after I told them there mistakes they did not hate me I think. I think when you critique someone's work it is beneficial to them because it shows what mistakes they have made so they can improve there work. Critiquing is also beneficial to me because I can watch my work in a different way and now see my mistakes as well.

ReplyDeletefirstly it's not nice to criticize anybody's work, however constructive criticism is good to an extent but it can sometimes cost you your friendship...
ReplyDeleteIn art we should not criticize people work because we never know when other student see our work they might tend to laugh .The people who see our work might tend to laugh but if we are wiser we must know to help them in making their work even better and one day if the student makes a mistake we must we wiser too help them and show them their mistakes
ReplyDeletecriticism can be good for your artwork because sometimes you cant see your mistakes but your friends can point them out for you. I agree with joey I felt kind of bad critiquing other people work but it can help them out a lot

When i critiqued my classmates comics i heard a voice inside me saying don't do it it will hurt their feelings. But then i thought to myself if i critique their comic they would notice the mistakes that they did not notice and it benefited me to because i learned that it takes another person to find mistakes in your comic.
ReplyDeleteI felt very encouraged in my classmates comic. There were a lot of errors in the comic I was critiging my friends work. The errors I found were alot. I learned alot fom my friend`s work and I knew not to make those errors in my comic.
ReplyDeleteCriticism can be very helpful because it shows you your mistake and helps develop your dears more.I agree with joey but I think that in future it helps that friend to be more professional.

At First When We Tried It I Felt Very Bad Because I Thought That I Was Doing Something Wrong And I Felt Really Bad But After We Did It I Actually Saw That I Helped My Classmates Improve And Develop Their Art Work I Was Then Very Happy That I Help That I Did It.It Is Beneficial To Me Because It Shows Me The Mistakes That My Friends Make Which I Can Also Make And Helps Me To Improve It.
ReplyDeleteMy reflections on critique towards someones work is that it is very beneficial , because not only is it helpful to the person in identifying their errors but it enhances the way in which you create your comics. I feel that the tool of critique is more than helpful to a class who are proforming the lesson of comics because it points/identify the errors in ones comic.
