In 15 years or so, most of you would have a family. Ofcourse you would want the best for your child/children. You have provided for your children as best as you can and you hope that one day your child would become a successful doctor or lawyer or engineeer. The time comes one day when your child is about to enter university. Your child informs you that he/she wishes to focus their studies on art and hope to work in the world of art as a fashion designer or an artist.
Question:
Would you support your child in their decision? Give detailed reasons why you would support or not support your child.

yes i would support my child in the field that he wants to enter or the person he wants to become in life because, i cannot force him or her to do something they are not satisfied with and they might not do the work to the best to their ability

ReplyDeleteI think that yesterday's Visual Arts class was very interesting because our teacher taught us about twisting different kinds of paper and sticking it on a piece of paper to form a beautiful pattern. I really did enjoy that lesson he taught us.

ReplyDeleteI would support my chid to persue their dreams of being a fashion designer. It is their dreams not mine. I will support them because I will be happy if my child is happy. If I were to keep them from their dreams it might lead to rebellion and drive him to run away.
I would certianly support my child in that field because if he wishes to focus on that subject and also likes it i will suport him right true, i will therefore support him because if he real likes something he will aim to work towards it and also show his potential towards his aim or goal.

ReplyDeleteYes, I would support my child if they wish to pursue an education and career in art. If my child thinks that art would help him in getting a career I would support him. I would not say no, because I do not find art to be not inportant. Infact, art is very important. Art is all around us and most creations started off with art. If my child wishes to go into that field, I would fully support them as they would be a major part in adding to the society.

Who knows he/she could teach me a few things on art. He/She could even paint a picture of me, that would be so wonderful. I would take that picture and put it in my living room so everyone who comes they can see what my son/daughter could do.

ReplyDeleteYes I would support my child a hundred and ten percent if he or she chooses to do art .Because art changes the way you looks at things and gives you a different frame of mind.Also with art they can go and do many different things like fashion artist and can do many more .So yes I support my child all the way.

The same encouragement and support my parents give to me , I would love to give to my kids,I think an Artist is a very calm and collective person and that will be 2 of MY childs characteristic.

ReplyDeleteYes,i will support my child/chindren if they want to further their studies in art.The reason why I will support them is because I find art to be a very interesting and a fun thing to do.I will more than allow my chind/children to further their studies in art even to the extent of a DR degree as long as they are committed to that subject.My child/children would also know that it will be their choice if they want to further studies or not and i will be happy with their choice.

Fashon changes every season and it takes only someone with a wide imagination to see what the future holds for the public and if my child has this imagination i would believe in him so that he would believe in himself.
